Jonathan E. Nuechterlein has joined Sidley as a partner after serving as general counsel for the FTC. He will co-lead Sidley’s communications regulatory practice. Since 2013, Nuechterlein represented the FTC in court, provided legal counsel on a range of antitrust and consumer protection issues, and oversaw its appellate litigation activities. Under his leadership, the Commission won a string of high-profile appellate victories, including FTC v. Wyndham Worldwide Corp.
